Henrietta is the Water Stewardship Principal at Anglo American, a global mining company. She holds a Doctor of Engineering in Environmental Technology. She started her water journey at Thames Water in the UK, where she completed her doctorate, before emigrating to South Africa. Henrietta has worked in the mining industry for the last 24 years delivering projects across Africa, the US, Canada, Latin American and Australia. She focuses on achieving sustainable outcomes that balance multiple stakeholder expectations in complex, cross-cultural projects to deliver successful programmes and unlock value for businesses and stakeholders. Since joining Anglo American, she has been instrumental in setting new standards and developing systems for water and mineral waste management. She now leads Anglo American’s water stewardship strategy.
