Biography
Guillaume de Souza has more than 30 years’ experience in Industrial Process Optimisation and Design and is the author or co-author of more than 30 patents relative to separation science applied to gas or saline water treatment.
He has demonstrated within the first half of its carrier, in a major international group, Air Liquide, as International Group Expert, its ability to implement with success innovative ideas at industrial scale. He is keen for breakthrough ideas in a goal to approach ideality in industrial process performance.
Guillaume founded Adionics in march 2012 and was its Chairman and CEO until may 2016.
Adionics is an Innovative SME applying supramolecular chemistry to allow massive or selective salt extraction from saline water and brine by the use of a patented thermal swing liquid-liquid extraction process.
Adionics first applied its technology to sea water desalination within Masdar Innovation Program with Suez as codeveloper (2014-2016). Its multi sectorial technology has proven via many pilot tests its high value for Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) on a large variety of brines.
Guillaume is today a member of Adionics’ board and supports its development.
He will participate to the Lithium Panel, on day 0 at 10:15-11:00 am within the Futur of Desalination.
