Sean Laffey joined Uisce Eireann (Irish Water) in 2013 and is Asset Management & Sustainability Director. He is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years experience in engineering services including roles in the public and private sector. Prior his current role, he was Head of Asset Management, Irish Water and before that Asset Programmes Manager. He brought with him a wealth of experience in Engineering and Water Services from his time in the local authorities across Ireland and was also part of the Water Services Transition Office preparing to transition water services from 31 Local Authorities to Uisce Eireann. Prior to that he held positions in both contracting and consulting businesses in Ireland and abroad.
