Dr. Erdal is Black & Veatch’s Integrated Solutions and Capabilities Director, overseeing development of sustainable approaches through thoughtful integration of traditional approaches with system scale and data insights based solutions, such as One Water and Digital Water. During her over 25 years career, she has worked on some of the largest infrastructure renewal planning and implementation programs including the City of San Diego’s $3B Pure Water & $6B+ MWD Pure Water Southern California programs, driving water resiliency at regional scale. She uniquely specializes in sustainable wastewater reclamation, resource recovery, technology development, regulatory frameworks, and all forms of water reuse at new and existing facilities of public and private utilities. She is a Board Director for Water Research Foundation (WRF) and WateReuse CA, and serves on a number of Technical Practice committees and industry Water Council groups, focusing on water-energy nexus and circular water economy.
