Biography
Claire Mauduit-Le Clercq, based in Standard & Poor's Paris office, is Director in the EMEA Utilities team. As part of her current responsibilities, she is in charge of supervising a portfolio of about 40 Utilities in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and the Netherlands. She is notably primary analyst on Veolia and covered Electricité de France, Engie and ENEL over the past 5 years. She led the roll-out of ESG in the ratings of the European Utilities. Prior to this, she spent about 3 years in the Consumer Goods & Healthcare sector, as a senior lead analyst on Anheuser-Busch InBev, Heineken, Diageo), and on specialty pharma companies. Before joining Standard & Poor’s in 2014, Claire worked as a high yield credit analyst at the Paris-based asset manager Amundi, and she build a solid 15 years of experience on credit markets, mainly in the asset management industry. Claire graduated from French University Paris Dauphine with a Master Degree as well as from American University with a Master in Business Administration, major in Finance, completed in Washington DC.
