Omer Bar is currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO at MEKOROT, Israel’s National Water Company. Previously, he held the role of Innovation Manager at Mekorot, where he spearheaded initiatives to drive technological advancements. Prior to that, Omer gained valuable experience as a Process and Operation Engineer at the Shafdan, Israel's largest wastewater treatment plant, also operated by Mekorot. He kickstarted his career as a Process Engineer at MemTech, an Israeli startup specializing in water and wastewater treatment technologies.

Omer holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Tel Aviv University, focusing his research on resource recovery and Circular Economy principles. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Engineering from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology.
