Biography
I'm Divya, I'm passionate about caring for our planet and motivated to make a positive difference. With an MSc in Environmental management, a BSc in Biology and a background in environmental microbiology.
My role as WINEP engagement management at Anglian Water helps deliver schemes that improve our environmental performance, such as reducing storm overflow spills or decreasing nutrient discharge from our water recycling centres. Over the next 5 years, we’re planning to invest more than £2.1 billion in our Water Industry Environment Programme (WINEP)—an industry-leading figure—delivering over 4,000 schemes across our region. Serving over 7 million people in the East of England, Anglian Water is the largest water and wastewater company in England and Wales (covering about 20% of the country).
I'm also a member of the Young Professional's Network committee for the Eastern Area, at the Institute of Water and Deputy committee member for Anglian Water and the alliances women's community - WICA (Women Inspiring, Connecting and Advocating).
