Gurmeet has 25 years’ experience in legal practice and has practiced law in the Middle East region since 2007. Prior to moving to the Middle East Gurmeet practiced in Melbourne, Australia for 10 years. She has advised public and private clients on infrastructure and energy projects with a particular focus on water, renewable energy and power projects. Gurmeet has extensive experience in advising on structuring, procurement, regulatory, corporate issues and contractual documentation (including FIDIC, Australian Standard forms, EPC, EPCM, BOO, BOOT, DBO and O&M).

Gurmeet is currently a board member of the Clean Energy Business Council and was previously on the board of the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA). She has written various articles in various journals. Gurmeet is ranked in Chambers since 2021 and listed as 'highly regarded' in the IFLR since 2019 and is listed in the IFLR top 1000 Female Lawyers List since 2020 and top 1000 Lawyers List since 2021.”
