Mr. Wilbert Menkveld has 30 years of experience in the municipal and industrial water space. He has worked as technological design manager, R&D Manager, Business development manager and consultant to design and optimise process and wastewater and biomass plants for many different industries.

He worked from 2002 until 2013 as senior industrial wastewater expert and manager industrial water and biomass treatment at Witteveen+Bos Consulting Engineers in the Netherlands. In 2013 he started as Director Innovation & Technology at Nijhuis SAUR Industries in the Netherlands. Since 2023 he is Chief Technology Officer for SAUR and it's industrial devision Nijhuis Saur industries. He is as CTO responsible for global Innovation strategy, development of new technologies/solutions, market introduction and technology selection for water and resource projects.
