Tim Thomure is an appointed voting member of the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona, where he currently serves as Treasurer. WIFA is an independent state authority authorized to finance the construction, rehabilitation, acquisition, and improvement of water infrastructure throughout Arizona. Since July 2024, Tim has served as the City Manager for the City of Tucson, the 33rd largest city in the United States and the cultural and economic hub of Southern Arizona. The city employs over 4,500 staff and operates under a $2.4B (FY-25) annual budget. He is a licensed civil engineer with 30 years of experience working in the public sector, private industry, and consulting. His expertise includes strategic planning, project delivery, and water policy. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Arizona, and, with the support of his wife Christina, is pursuing a PhD from the University of Arizona.
